Each piece starts with a single granule. A tiny seed from which creativity flows and meaning grows… Using the ancient art of granulation, Hannah Bedford handcrafts fine jewellery influenced by natural growth formations and seascapes.

Hannah Bedford is renowned for her work using granulation a technique that dates back over 5,000 years. There are few true master-crafters of granulation today as it is an extremely delicate and time intensive process. Hannah handcrafts each unique granule on a charcoal block before they are cleaned and individually applied to form her complex designs. The bonding of these minute precious granules requires great skill and precision, a careful steady hand and, above all, patience.

"Key also to the appeal are its sustainability credentials — jewellery made with such skill and care is, by its nature, built to last. Yet it’s the emotional connection to a jewel and its maker that makes these pieces so special."
Jessica Diamond, The Sunday Times Style -
"Indy Best Rating 10/10. The best overall alternative engagement ring for 2022 – Hannah Bedford's whorl diamond ring... Also good to note is that the brand is keen on giving back – for every ring sold, it plants a tree through the Ecologi scheme, and donates a percentage of sales from the collection to the Marine Conservation Society."
Rachael Taylor, Independent -
"These independent jewellers can help you design a ring that's truly one-of-a-kind: Bedford’s jewellery is the perfect balance of classic and contemporary. She uses 100 percent recycled gold or silver as well as conflict-free diamonds.”
Martha Alexander, Evening Standard -
“Shop eye-catching designs at Hannah Bedford... Jaw-dropping jewellery never fails - and it needn’t cost the earth.”
Jessica Diamond, The Sunday Times Style -
"The treasures we invest in today will still be as deliciously covetable come New Year’s Day, Chinese New Year and beyond."
